CREATIVE STORY

Kingola Jewellery is an independent, contemporary fine jewellery brand. Each piece is designed and handcrafted in London by Kinga Olah jewellery artist and designer, whose work has been recognised with multiple awards for innovation and conceptual design. She brings over 25 years of experience in jewellery making, design, gemstone expertise, and professional valuation. Her expertise spans a range of techniques, from classic goldsmithing to innovative approaches, reflecting her commitment to both preserving traditional craftsmanship and embracing modern, creative practices.

As part of the slow craft movement, Kinga creates limited-edition pieces using recycled silver and gold, as well as ethically sourced and repurposed gemstones, giving new life to materials.
Kinga inspiration stems from the subtle, silent language of touch, the primal form of connection that shapes our earliest experiences and lingers in the memory of skin. Through her practice, she explores the unique potential of jewellery to bridge the spatial and emotional distances between individuals. Her work preserves and shares the imprints of personal spaces and identities, serving as a metaphorical thread between our inner worlds and the shared human experience.

Her unique pieces have been featured in several prestigious exhibitions and international showcases, contributing to her growing reputation within the contemporary jewellery scene. Notably, she was awarded the Venice Design Week Award in 2024 and the GC&DC Award for Conceptual Jewellery in 2025, honouring her artistic vision and innovative approach to contemporary jewellery design.
Alongside her practice, she is passionate about sharing her expertise and experience as a jewellery tutor. Her teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a hands-on, collaborative, and inclusive environment where she encourages experimentation and creative risk-taking, values that also underpin her own work.
Kinga is a member of several respected organisations within the jewellery community, including the Precious Collective, Association for Contemporary Jewellery, Handmade in Britain, and Design-Nation.
